Technical Sales Estimator

Full-time

1st Shift: 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m., Monday - Friday

Pay is starting at $20.00 per hour.

Location: Ocala, FL

FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We design and build back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time.

Job Summary

Fidelity Manufacturing is seeking a Technical Sales Estimator . This is a tremendous opportunity for someone who enjoys the manufacturing process from beginning to end. You will play an integral part in the customer relation and will operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to customer needs.

Essential Job Functions:
Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

• Receives requests for price quotations, purchase orders, change orders, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers. Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service.
• Build and send quotes to customers based on interpretation of technical specifications.
• Works with Engineering and Production as needed to ensure an accurate and profitable quote.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Fidelity Manufacturing products and the standby generator industry.
• Uses all established systems and quoting spreadsheet to build customer quotes to meet customer requirements and project specifications. Quotes must be completed in a reasonable time frame.
• Follows up on quotes to make sure the customer is satisfied with our quote and answer any question
• Interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the Standby Generator Industry, preferred but not required.
• At least 1-year work experience as an Inside Sales / Account Manager in a technical trade

Required Qualifications/Training

• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Sales estimating experience required. Experience reading technical specifications for quota preparations.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills and the ability to oversee multiple projects and tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carryout detailed written and/or oral instructions.
