The role focuses on creating engaging video and written content for Pulse Nigeria's social media platforms. It involves managing community interactions, tracking performance metrics, and optimizing content strategy. The position requires trend monitoring, campaign execution, and collaboration across internal teams. Ultimately, it aims to grow brand visibility, audience engagement, and support overall business goals. Duties and Responsibilities Develop high-quality video content for Pulse Nigeria's social media platforms. Create engaging captions, headlines, and descriptions that drive audience interaction. Conduct research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and topics. Create and schedule posts, stories, and reels to maximize engagement and reach Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner Track and analyze engagement metrics (e.g., likes, comments, shares, etc.) to measure content performance. Provide regular reporting on content and social media performance. Use data to inform future content and social media strategies. Become an advocate for the Company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate. Demonstrate ability to map out marketing strategies and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics. Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy. Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business - Report notable threats to appropriate management. Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns. Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results. Keep up to date, research and suggest new social media account management tools. Collaborate with other teams: Editorial, Video, and Sales teams to achieve company wide goals. Manage Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities in line with KPIs including: Community management - daily spam check across all the channels and other commenting systems. Approve comments when necessary & quick response/monitoring of comments following the standard guidelines. Monitor trends and happenings across channels using social media tools such as; IO Analytics, CrowdTangle, etc. and ensure time-to-market for the content distribution is efficient. Complete reports - social media weekly, general weekly online marketing report and traffic analysis report when necessary. Complete Experiment briefs for tests conducted and properly documented in the marketing folder. Create posts for special campaigns (clients) when necessary on all social media channels and compile reports for analysis. Proper implementation of specification and structure document - to be used as a guide for all posts and updated when necessary. Ensure proper distribution of all content types across assigned channels. Ensure all social media posts are correctly UTM tagged for tracking. Develop new social media strategies & ideas with proper implementation of these strategies for the growth of the brands. Event coverage for Pulse Nigeria & Pulse clients based on communicated briefs; cover events highlights and distribute content across relevant channels & provide performance Reports. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Understanding of Social Media Strategy Content Creation, Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Capcut) Understanding of major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) Communication Skills Analytical Skills Customer Service Skills Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Sprout Social) Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management. #J-18808-Ljbffr Pulse
