Senior Project Manager required by Global Real Estate firm in San Jose

Our partnership client, an established global leader in Real Estate services, is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to join a dynamic team overseeing a diverse portfolio of commercial CAPEX infrastructure construction projects in the Bay Area. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in delivering complex, high-value CAPEX builds across multiple industries, including Healthcare, Biotech, education & Tech.

Your new role

• Lead end-to-end project execution from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and present proposals, estimates, and schedules with full accountability for scope, budget, and timeline
• Manage subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, and on-site performance
• Oversee financial tracking, billing, cost reconciliation, and change management
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure delivery excellence
• Build strong client relationships and pursue new project leads to help grow the business
• Dedicate significant time to on-site oversight, ensuring top-tier quality and compliance

What you'll need to succeed

• 8–10+ years of commercial construction project management experience in the Bay Area
• Proven success managing projects ranging from $500K to $10M in sectors like life sciences, healthcare, or education
• Hands-on expertise in estimating, buyouts, contract administration, and financial controls.
• Confident self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-responsibility roles with limited admin support.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Engineering degree preferred; equivalent industry experience accepted
• MEP commissioning experience highly attractive
