Security Receptionist – Part Time

Location:  Iowa City, IA

Rate: $19.00/HR

Available Schedule: Fri & Sat: 9PM - 5:3AM

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The  Receptionist Officer  position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control, and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Receptionist Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

The Receptionist Officer is a customer service driven position. If you have receptionist, hospitality, or retail industry background, you are a great fit for this role. 

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.
• Answering phones.
• Answering basic questions.
• Providing directions.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma or GED Required. 
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. 
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• Customer service skills needed.
