Weekend Warrior Wanted – Part-Time NP for Acute Inpatient Rehab at Georgetown, DE

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour

Love the energy of acute care but want your weekends to count? Steady Strides is looking for a Physiatry Nurse Practitioner to cover weekend shifts on our Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation (ACIR) unit.

What You’ll Do:

• Admit and discharge patients from ACIR
• Follow up with physiatry patients to keep their rehab journeys on track
• Manage pain so patients can focus on recovery
• Tap into internal medicine consults when needed
• Staff over-the-phone admissions with attending

What You Bring:

• 3–5 years internal medicine hospitalist experience (must-have)
• Prior physiatry experience? Bonus points! (If not, we’ll train you.)
• A knack for balancing sharp clinical skills with compassionate rehab care

Additional Qualifications

• Advanced clinical skills in patient assessment and treatment planning
• Knowledge and experience in fall prevention and stroke rehabilitation
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Delaware
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• CPR and BLS certification
