About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Executive and Professional Search. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for independently identifying, developing, and growing business opportunities in critical markets. This role involves directing and building the activities of a practice, with a strong focus on new business development, client retention, and search execution. The Managing Director will also be tasked with driving strategic marketing and sales plans, ensuring that all business and financial goals are met, and fostering a team environment that encourages collaboration and communication. Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and at least 7 years' of progressive recruiting experience, with a minimum of 3 years' in a retained search environment. The role requires a proven track record in establishing new clients and selling executive search services, as well as outstanding communication skills. Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or clinical recruiting is preferred, or a background in supporting these industries from a functional practice. The ideal candidate will be adept at using MS Word, Excel, and LinkedIn Recruiter, and must be willing to travel 25-30% of the time. The Managing Director will be expected to lead a team, influence the growth of the practice, and may directly manage a team of search consultants and researchers.
