We are looking for a detail-oriented entry-level Paralegal to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This Contract-to-Permanent role is ideal for candidates with strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management, especially within IT settings. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to critical sourcing processes and contract approvals while developing your expertise in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

• Negotiate terms and conditions to secure favorable agreements.

• Manage contract approval processes with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

• Analyze pricing structures and ensure alignment with budgetary requirements.

• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in reviewing and drafting contracts.

• Apply critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues related to sourcing and contract negotiations.

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure contracts meet technical and operational needs.

• Conduct thorough research to support contract negotiations and sourcing decisions.

• Monitor contract performance and compliance to ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms.

The pay rage for this position is $28.50-33/hour. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Proven experience in sourcing and negotiation, preferably in IT settings.
• Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
• Familiarity with pricing analysis and budget alignment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in research and data analysis.
