Join Waste Connections as a Heavy Equipment Operator at our Landfill in Henderson, TX and help us keep the community clean, safe, and moving forward. Whether you’ve got years of experience or are ready to learn, we’re looking for hard-working folks who take pride in what they do. Job Duties include operating compactor to spread and compact trash, using dozer for daily cover and grading, excavating soil using an excavator, maintaining haul roads using a grader, hauling soil and assisting with other general landfill duties. Requirements include 1+ year experience operating light or heavy equipment, comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions, reliability, team orientation, ability to complete basic daily reports, ability to lift/push/pull 50–75+ lbs, and strict adherence to safety guidelines. Landfill or waste industry experience is a plus but not required. Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
