Job Title: Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic 

Location: Casper, WY
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24 – $31 per hour, based on experience

Position Summary:

Adecco is hiring an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic for a direct hire position in Casper, WY. This role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience working with diesel engines and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components on large-scale machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues in diesel-powered heavy equipment

• Maintain and repair hydraulic systems, powertrains, and electrical components

• Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance

• Accurately document all work performed, including parts used and labor hours

• Ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards

• Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to company safety protocols

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic working with heavy equipment (construction, mining, or agricultural)

• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems

• Must supply your own tools

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the team

• Vocational training or certifications in diesel technology are preferred but not required
