Position Overview A leading national engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Forensic Engineer with 8-10 years of experience to join its Dallas office. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile investigations involving structural failures, building envelope issues, natural disasters, and construction defects across a variety of sectors including commercial, institutional, and residential. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site investigations to assess structural damage and failures. Analyze construction materials, design documents, and building systems. Prepare detailed technical reports and expert opinions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and legal professionals. Provide litigation support and expert witness testimony as needed. Manage multiple projects and mentor junior engineers. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred). Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months. 8-10 years of experience in forensic engineering or related fields. Proficiency in structural analysis software and field testing methods. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel for site inspections and client engagements.
