Base pay range $25.00/hr - $25.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Yoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company Enterprise Recruiter at Yoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company Yoh has an immediate, 7+monthcontract opportunity, as an Accounts Payable Associate within the Biotechnology industry to jour client, Onsite ,to report totheir officein Salt Lake City, UT ~ Max Hourly Rate$25/hr. ~40 hours a week, Mon-Friday- 8AM-430PM ~3+ years relevant finance/accounting experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Accounts Payable in an ERP system, SAP preferred You will be processingAccounts Payable (AP) invoices, verifying vendor statements, and other related AP activities according to company policies. What You Will Be Doing Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of client's Diagnostics Quality System. Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor master data information. Ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner, payments are made on time, all appropriate discounts are taken and use tax is accrued if appropriate. Ensure expenses are approved and posted to correct general ledger accounts, cost centers and/or project (if applicable)according to accounting guidelines and departmental instructions. Ensure all purchases are approved and supported with an approved purchase order or email according to the most current authorized approval limits. Ensure 1099 information is correctly captured in vendor records for processing 1099s at year-end. Responsible for maintaining all accounts payable records and files. Provide all appropriate AP reports (as requested) for month, quarter and year-end close, and reconcile accounts payable vendor accounts and General Ledger Accounts as assigned. Work to obtain vendor statements at quarter end close to assist A/P Manager with calculating accruals which may be required. Accounting duties including general office duties, such as copying and filing. Performs other duties as assigned. Who You Are High School Diploma or GED required; some college level accounting courses preferred. Minimum three years relevant finance/accounting experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Accounts Payable in an ERP system SAP preferred but not required.
